Electronics practice

Build the circuit. Match the trace.

101 Circuits is a desktop practice environment for electronics. Connect the supplied parts, watch the oscilloscope, and finish an exercise when every channel matches its target. Another wiring is accepted when it produces the same signals.

A completed low-pass filter. A 6 volt pulse passes through a 1 kilohm resistor and a 10 microfarad capacitor, and the oscilloscope shows a matched trace.
A low-pass exercise in the Blueprints theme. The trace matches when the measured signal agrees with the target.

Match every channel

The oscilloscope compares the circuit you build with the target waveform. A probe draws no current. Ground symbols share one reference.

Read the guide

Each exercise has a guide, and each part has an article with its terminals, behavior, and limits. The writing stays inside the application.

Keep your own circuits

Sandbox keeps the parts you have met. Change a value, save the diagram, and come back to it later.

101 exercises

Short lessons, then a harder circuit if you want it.

The campaign starts with a battery, a resistor, and a complete return path. Later lessons move through filters, diodes, transistors, amplifiers, logic, timers, and oscillators.

  • Practice exercises keep the support wiring and ask for a few connections.
  • Optional challenges start unwired and do not block the next lesson.
  • Keyboard and mouse reach every control.
The Learn library, a grid of component symbols, with the analog switch selected.
The Learn library opens from a part or from the exercise guide.
Sandbox with a pulse source, resistor, and capacitor, pinned controls for voltage, frequency, resistance, and capacitance, and a live oscilloscope.
Pinned Sandbox controls adjust supply, frequency, resistance, and capacitance while the trace is live.

Sandbox

Use the parts after you meet them.

A part becomes available in Sandbox when an exercise introduces it. You can place it, wire it, and save the result beside your lesson progress.

Colored LEDs show when current is flowing. Values can be pinned and changed with a knob or by typing the number.
